Lexmark X864de firmware error

firmware error occurred couple of time already, update firmware and fix the issue for a month sending fax got stock(pending in the queue) tried couple of fix like disabled the ECM and put a filter core on the fax line and fixes the issues. and couple of days a firmware error come out again. any idea about this? do i need to replace the HDD?

which firmware error are u getting,
i cant remember off the top of my head but
one is associated with the print driver (there is a tech bulitin to use universal print drivers instead of the specific one for the machine, go figure, the bulitin applies to several machines.) if u get the black screen and error when someone prints to it then this is the issue.

the other will actualy require a new sys board if updating the firmware didnt help.

also call lexmark, they are bad about releasing new firmware and not putting it on there website for several months
