Lexmark T654N customer powered down thenproblem after powering up

Customer turned power off while machine was accepting print job . When powered back up just heard a fan and computer not recognizing printer though i understand an IT guy removed drivers. Just want to know what to look for specifically before going there. Frank/ActionPhotocopy

    Is this a network printer?
Have you tried disconnecting from the computer then cycling the power?

I don't believe this was being used as a network printer but I can find out. I have not been to call yet as just received phone call about 12 noon EST. I don't think customer disconnected machine from computer. Frank

I have seen oddities that are expressed with then network cable causes.
Start there then it's time to break out the meter.
The IT guy is to quick to delete the drivers.
Paper jam likely still in the machine.

It is a networked printer. Customer just called again to update info. Says hears fans running but power indicator lamp not on and machine not acknowledged by computer. Said lexmark IT told her drivers were probably corrupted and reinstalled from remote base. Frank
