T 650n no power now...

    T 650n no power now...

    have a t650 no power only the status light was flickering no screen. removed the low voltage power supply.
    checked the fuses, cleaned the ground contacts on the rear of the board put it back in got 5 beeps
    no screen. powered it back on everything was/ is working i still get it every third, fourth time nothing in the service manual any thoughts?

      Have you upgraded the firmware?

          yes.. looks like it might be a system board but based on the lack of info for this model in the manual.

          not going to have the customer take the chance. it's running they just cant turn it off.

          so basicly i took it from a dead unit to a ticking time bomb.

              You might try replacing the display. At least before you replace the system board, anyway. Or you might want to have one on hand in case the system board change doesn't help.
              Yes, I've been through something similar, and for me it was just a bad display. Hopefully that will be the case for you, too.
