Lexmark X656dte No Power

Hi All

Just looking for some pointers here on this.

According to the EU there was another "tech" who replaced some parts on machine.

Now it will not power on.

I have not gotten to machine yet to look at it, but was just wanting some ideas as to what to check.

If their is "no power" on bootup I would suspect LVPS. IF there is power but, the screen does not boot or you get an error then I would be looking at the RIP board.

Depends really on what you mean by "no power"

What parts were changed?

also keep in mind that u cant use "used or boards from another machine" if u do it will brick the machine, cant remember if it wont boot or will boot with a critical error. would make sure the previous tech used new boards.
