Lexmark XS736DE Removing MPS Icon/Software?

Recently took over maintenance on a customers XS736De machine. On the screen it still has the old dealers logo and meter read software and I would like to remove this. Is this a embedded chip on the machine or a software issue? I restored the machine to factory defaults and it remains. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
