    Lexmark X945e White Line

We are getting one line in the centre of image. Both on copy and print.

Replaced all the photo conductors. As we are new to Lexmark.

How to remove the transfer belt unit. but transfer belt seems OK.

    Thanks for your kind help.

How does the Heat and pressure rollers look on the fuser? Ive seen this problem on the X658de. the pressure roller developed a "rip" right in the center. Check it, and see if it has any damage.
Also the lens on the laser unit. Make sure that it is clean. The cleaning blade on the ITB. Make sure that it is actually cleaning the itb.

Thanks a lot for your prompt response. We cleaned the printhead windows by the tool was provided. Fuser unit and ITB is also perfect.

One thing when we print test pages, on all the colors we get line but not on Cyan Color. Dont understand where the problem is.

      Thanks and kind regards,

*Please also advise how to reset photoconductor unit life?

Do you have a sample to share?
Did you inspect the Developing Units?

            Re: Lexmark X945e White Line

First thing is to try what we call a 1/2 page test... Print a test then open a cover when u feel paper is under toner and going into fuser... ( Note: you may have to try this multiple times until you get it right... This is to find out if defect is happening before it gets fused.. remove the belt and look at print on paper before getting fused ( before it gets fused) if print looks good before fuser then it must be the fuser... If defect is there before then it may be the transfer belt..
here are transfer belt removal procedures..

            Transfer belt unit assembly removal
Warning: When removing the transfer belt unit assembly, do not touch the belt surface, or damage will
            occur.
Note: Detach the finisher if equipped. Refer to the MFP or the Printer Finisher Service Manual.
            1. Open the printer front door assembly.
            2. Open the transfer belt access cover.
            3. Press the button on the transfer belt lift latch (A).
            4. Raise the transfer belt lift latch (A) to its upper-most position.
            5. Lower the transfer belt lift handle (B) to its lower-most position.
            6. Lift the safety latch (C) while pulling the transfer belt unit assembly (D) out of the machine.
            7. Remove the transfer belt unit assembly (D).
Replacement warning: When reinstalling the transfer belt unit assembly, do not touch the belt surface, or
            damage will occur.
