    Lexmark XS796de doc feeder adjustment

I'm trying to correct a side to side image shift on a Lexmark XS796de. It only occurs when the original is fed through the document feeder. Does anyone know the df centering adjustment? Lead edge timing is fine but I would like to know all the adjustments. The problem happens on single sided and duplex. On 2:2 duplex the up facing side has the shift but the side facing down in the df comes out properly centered. On 1:2 duplex both sides are shifted.

Firmware has been updated. I looked in 26 and 36 mode and didn't find the adjustment. There must be an adjustment mode I don't know about or a calibration procedure.

    Thanks

Enter 2 and 6 Configuration mode

      Go to Scanner Manual Registration

Print Quick Print test and then use that page to do the copy quick test

You will then need to make adjustments through the ADF FRONT menu.

Use horizontal adjust to get the image centerd.

      Hope this helps
