have a okidata 8473, with a please set next document under the status button, if you try to copy says device is busy, only way i could get rid of please set message was to turn off copier and restart.. any suggestions

I'm not familiar with the new Oki, but it sounds as if the default is set to duplex. Or, if possible, 'Job Build' is a default
