OKIdata C532 "Image Drum Sensor Error"

Having a problem with a C532 giving a "Image Drum Sensor Error" message for the Magenta unit. Customer said they already changed the drum unit and still the problem did not go away. Made sure the firmware was up to date and cleaned and inspected all contact points and they were OK. Not sure what to check or change next.

I would make sure it was the drum they replaced.Many times I have had customers replace toner when it says to replace drum.

They just brought by the old unit they took out and it was indeed the Magenta drum unit.

You can hear it adding Magenta toner and the Magenta drum unit is turning. I know it is the Magenta toner it is adding because if you dump some of the toner out and put the cartridge back in and close the lid and you can hear the clicking noise as it adds toner and then the drum unit if full when you take the toner cartridge out. But if you take the toner cartridge out and close the lid you do not hear the clicking noise any more.

Both drum and toner are OEM.

Anybody seen this. Can not get past the error.
