    [Error Code] SP 9100 Printer with SC990 and print intermitently

    Hi Seniors,
    It's a SP9100 printer .when client send print command and stays at please wait and after sometime it throws SC990.
    I have replaced the hard-disk .Swaped memory module and motherboard etc ,but the problem is there.Any help please!

      Try printing from your laptop, update firmware.

          It's a general software error code but it can relate to quite a few things like a process control error.

          • Does it error when printing off internally generated pages like the counter page, config, SMC etc?
          • What type of print driver has the customer installed?
          • What are your PM counters like for your drum and dev?
          • Knowledge not shared, is eventually knowledge that becomes lost... like tears in the rain.
