    Ricoh Pro 1107 smudged

    Hi,

This unit has very bad smudged output (picture).
    Changed developer, but still bad.
Any idea what is wrong? Could it be Development Unit.
    thank youslika1.jpg

I would go there with a known good transfer belt unit.

It was Katun drum. Some Brasso polish solved problem.

          Thank you for help.

Check the Drum drive. See if the belt has broken or come off

OP just stated (a year before your suggestion ) it was a aftermarket (shitty brand IMHO) katun drum!
