    ricoh spc820dn not fusing.

    I have a customer running normal copy paper. replaced the fuser and same problem. Image will not stick to paper. Any ideal would be help. no codes.

    1) were there codes on old fuser?
    2) have you watched fuser temp in SM?
    3) Is it leaving ANY image?
    4) are you SURE it is producing an image B4 the fuser?
    5) did you reset fuser parts?
    6) check fuser for opens?
    7) fuser getting proper voltage?

      Troubleshoot the new? fused. Temperature, pressure.

          How cold is the environment?
          I'll bet the paper in the trays is freezing cold?

              With older B/W models with thick wall hot rollers, I have had machines that would throw warm up errors if room temperature had dropped below 60F for most of the night and had not been brought back up to 60F before power the machine back on.

                Oh I dunno about that...I'm in Toowoomba not the Sunny Coast.
                Certainly not as bad as a Sydney winter though ...was born there and spent 40yrs there
