Stuck on start up screen

Hi Folks, newbie to the site here. Mainly deal with Canon machines but have 1 site that has all Ricoh. I currently have a 3053sp that's stuck on the start up screen. Any ideas what might be causing this? Cheers in advance!

Do you know whether someone tried to update the firmware?
I've seen this when an incorrect firmware is installed.
I'd suggest doing firmware.
Have I said firmware enough?...

I take it you don't have a manual...

have you tried keeping door open when booting?

have you checked other Ricoh threads for like problems?

done a Google search?

try unplugging the hard drive and then restart the machine. Does it ever throw a service code?

Replace hard drive.
