    Hello,

i have a SPC 352 DN who makes sometines but allways on the 1. Page a Yellow Stripe like you can see in the Pic.

I changed the Yellow Unit and updated the FW.

The Stripe is allway at the same Position, but not allways in the same size.

Is it short edge feed or Long Edge Feed?
When you say "Changed yellow unit", do you mean print cartridge or Drum Unit?
If you changed the Drum unit then it Could be the Transfer Unit.

      Hello,

the Stripe is on the short side,as you can see on the Picture.

      I changed the Drum Unit.

It can be the Transfer Unit, because the Stripe is allways on the same Place on the Paper.

      Cheers

        Hi there!
Take a look at the drum-earth, clean it and also the contact in the drum. Worth a try.
        Greetings...

The question was Short Edge Feed or Long Edge Feed. It has to do with what the direction of paper travel.

              Supported Paper Sizes

              Paper Tray: 3.25" x 5.83" - 8.5" x 14.01"
              Bypass Tray: 2.52" x 5" - 8.5" x 49.6"
              Optional Trays: 5.5" x 8.27" - 8.5" x 14.01"thought SPC 352 only did SEF.

Since you already replaced the PCDU, I can only think of Transfer Belt cleaning unit, or some light entering from outside (Is there a removed cover or something like that?).

That printer can only do SEF on that size of paper.

An observation of the picture provided would be that it is a meter sheet (supposed to be black and white) yet, it has a yellow mark going through it, meaning that the ITB should not be in contact with the yellow PCDU.

Some other things are the PCDU's are above the ITB unit on this machine and the yellow PCDU is first in line for an image (IE at the front of the machine right after the cleaning unit). ITB rotates to move the image to the back of the machine, go to the bottom of the ITB unit and then go on to meet the paper.

I have not seen anything like this unfortunately, but I think a good next step is to try a different ITB unit.

I will be interested to see what it turns out to be if the OP would be so kind as to follow up.

                    Hello,

i changed the ITB from a 2nd machine with the same result.
Then i turned the Yellow PCU and saw, that something is wrong with the charging or de-charging of the drum.
Hmmm, this is i believe the 2.nd Yellow drum with the same problem.

I put in a new one and after 500 Prints the drum looks good.

                    This is raely strange.

                    Take a look:
