      Hold the Up and Down arrow for like 5 seconds and then hit the OK button.
      Make sure you're not in user tools/ or other menu.
      Also make sure there isn't a print job coming through when trying to enter.

          Anyways... It turned out that service mode was disabled when machine was preflighted by Ricoh proir to get delivered on site (as per policy of company where that printer was installed). I didn't do any adjustments at this time - so didn't bother to uncheck it at WIM.
