    Password Override

Hello everyone, I bought a Fiery EX12 for my DC12 on Ebay. I need to override the password, the seller doesnt have the password. Do anyone knows how to eliminate the password? If I need a CD im willing to BUY a copy.
    Any help is greatly appreciated.
    Thank You!

      update

Still can't get it to work from the fiery. It copies well but I don't need it for that. Xerox is no help. They did come out, read the meter and are trying to bill me for more copies in a month than I've run in my whole life. (The previous owner did this many in a DAY so I know whose copy count it is).

This is the worst fiasco I've ever experienced. All I wanted to do was put this thing in my garage and run family photos off the Mac for my wife.

I have a Doc 12, Fiery and enough consumables to last a lifetime they gave me with it. I paid $1500. Anybody know a venue where I could offer it for sale and recoup the dough?

Alternatively, I could wrap a chain around it, drag it out into the yard. Set up the belt-fed, water-cooled Browning 30.06 and cut it in half. The video would get a lot of hits on Utube and it would be great fun.

Many thanks to all of you. I really appreciate all the help you have offered.

you could try e-bay . i bet your consumables and fiery would fetch you the best prices as for the machine put a listing for used parts. it will take time but i bet you will be sitting on a profit.
a machine is only as good as your tech : source:screwtape ; the scary one

            Xerox DC12, DC1250, DC1256 Fiery/server software

            I have software Cds for:

Fiery X12 and Fiery EX12. If someone have software for Fiery XP12 and need software for X12 or EX12, We can trade in cds, no probs.
RE: the Xerox DC12, DC1250, DC1256 Fiery/server software you can actually ask EFI Fiery for it Directly, and the thing is they can't sell it to you because of their contract with Xerox so they will give it to you for free if you persist.

It's not the usual thing that they do.

One of my customers told me that they did this and I told another one of my customers about this and EFI did the same thing for them.

No guarantees but it's certainly worth a try.

i tried powering down and unplugging for awhile but to no avail.

What would you want to burn me copies of those CDs and send them to me?

              Thanks,
