havent been able to find IDE drives in years, all sata now. but we did locate some via another source. thanks

Since Ricoh does not show individual drives in the part catalog, this might be one that uses a configured set and must be replaced as a set from Ricoh. Its predecessor the Aficio 3245C was like this.

If this is the case your only hope is to go to a used parts source such as recycledparts.us, $99.00 currently out of stock. Either that or check for a used equipment wholesaler that has a C4500 with an operational HDD.

One last thing. I think it is time to replace the dinosaur.
