    Riso GR3770 registration issue

I'm having the same problem with both of my GR3770 machines: when I burn the master the print always starts at the very top of the page...then I adjust it to correct position...as I print 500-1000+ copies the print progressively 'drops' down the page to the point that it reaches the bottom edge of the sheet, requiring me to then start moving the print back 'up' the page until it again reaches the top of the sheet and sometimes gets totally out of registration, to the point that I have to stop printing and re-burn the master, starting the process all over again. How can I correct this?

        GR3770 Registration Problem

I don't know how you knew that, but, yes I did. It came with some real problems that took time and expense to work through, but now it is at least making a print. Do you know this dealer in the NY area?

              Drum Twist Checked

I did a visual on the drums. They don't look twisted, as far as I can tell.

I don't understand how that would make them track one way (high), then allow the print to 'drop' down the sheet the other way after a certain copy count.

Doesn't explain why the print always starts high on the page either. But, you're the expert. I'm just trying to follow the reasoning.

The drum body makes the image shift sometimes... make a mark by the clamp on the mater with a pen.draw a line along the clamp plate..run it then check to see if the master is creaping out of the clamp..it can be so many things... start with the easy ones first.... guide roller .pull out check the spring....
