    [Wanted] ricoh 1224

    Looking for a nic card for a 1224. Customer has lost print connection through ethernet but can print through parallel port. Such an old machine I am not sure where to look

      I think you might have to go directly to Ricoh for that seeing as it's such an old part, but you might want to try having a quick Google for part number B053 5254. You might even be able to find the complete printer / scanner kit on ebay too, it's a type 1232.

          I may have one but are you sure the NIC is faulty?

          It is possible but it's it's not that common to be honest.

          Does the NIC LED lights come on / flash?
          Have you re-seated the NIC?
          Can you PING the machine's I.P address / does it drop packets?
          Is DIPRINT disabled?
