    Ricoh 2045e or Savin 4045e Hard Drive needed

    ANyone have a HDD for a Ricoh 2045e? I need one for a Savin 4045e and instructions on how to install. Thanks

      just go and buy any type of IDE hdd, install in maschine and format hdd in service mode

          Any standard 40 GB IDE drive will work for these models. The formatting for Ricoh's BSD base is done after the drive is installed, or can also be done through service mode: SP 4-911 (at least that's what it was on an old 5635).

                  I also tried with 20 GB IDE HDD (Hitachi) and work perfectly!
