Hello.

Anyone know of a Xerox 4000 copier for sale? This model was introduced in early 70's. I'm a big fan of old Xerox machines. In the 80's I operated a Xerox 9400 and 9500. I'll guess there's not much chance of get a hold of a 4000, but I'll give it a try here

The 4000 was the first machine that I trained on and serviced. It was a bear but everything after that was a breeze in comparison. If I happen to hear of one being available I will let you know, but they are rare.

Interesting to know that you serviced the 4000. I don't think there is much chance, that I get my hands on one, but if you happened to hear of one, I'm veeeery interested :-)

Have you ever heard about a retrofit program called k5/k8 relay rewire? This was mentioned earlier in this thread from another member. If you know about it, I'm very interested to hear more about it, or any other experience or info that you had with the 4000 machine. Do you know if someone might have a service manual for this machine?
