Thanks for the link, however I have several links to buy a manual but my co refuses to pay for one. They think we are magical mystery techs who don't need no stinkin manual. I refuse to pay for any thing for a millionaire who is too cheap to provide for himself. Thanks any way but I guess on these two pieces we'll have to go with the "Replace the big part" theory of repair.

I do not know if you still need the manual for the HP, but I manage to find a web page where you can download Service Manuals for several brands like Xerox, Lexmark, HP and others. I think I saw the one that you need in this page. Link below...
