I would normally agree but the only service engineers within 3hrs of me only service copiers they sell and they sell ollivette. So I am stuck but only have minor issues.

Can't find copier techs in Belfast? It's big city and I'm sure there are a lot of them around happily waiting to help.

Belfast has appeared beside my name but I am in fermanagh about 140 miles from me to Belfast.
i have to agree with the others... Service Mode can be very tricky even for a certified Tech. You can create more problems for yourself if you attempt it, you can even FUBAR the machine.
you mentioned problems WHAT are the problems you have?
Thanks Phil, I posted my issue in the technical tread but no answers yet. Basically I have an error asking me to change the transfer belt cleaning unit. I know where this is and it appears to slide out the front but something is holding it in. As its copying fine it may just be a service counter that needs reset but I cannot find this. I am assuming the service manual would have instructions for either.

The transfer cleaning unit is held in by one screw but that will not reset the pm counter you will need to do that in service mode or replace complete transfer unit with if new will reset
