    Xerox EC7856 manual

    I realize this machine's manual may only be in eDoc, but I was hoping someone can tell me if there is a hard copy as I cannot get ProLibro application to load and run on my pc. GSN site doesn't have anything so this site is my best bet. Nothing except copytechnet comes up with a Google search.

    Xerox support isn't willing to offer help without us being trained and we have 1 customer that calls us for service on this model machine.

    I was a Xerox tech/service agent from 1988-2002 and have been an ASP since so I have plenty of experience with Xerox.

    Any help is appreciated.

      You can use pdf service manual for wc7835.

          I heard that the GSN server is functional. You can find the edoc there if you still have an account.
          Better edoc than pdf.

              The GSN site doesn't list the eDoc or any manuals for the 78XX series. It only lists user guides, Network and Fiery information/manuals/parts.

                  EDOC 705P01348 has been updated to support the new EC7836i/7856i devices.

                      This means you dont have an account for GSN. There you can find many edocs. The last version for WC78xx is 01348 from 2017 and it is updated in February 2018 via BUS. Ask a colleague who has a correct account to download to edoc 705P01348.

                          As I explained in my original post, we are not 'trained' on the 78xx series. However, I do have a GSN account as well as a PWS and have downloaded PDF's in the past. The pc we used for this went bye-bye and I attempted to load the PWS software on a Windows 11 pc and it didn't work well. The Bus won't work at all. Honestly, I only service Xerox machines out of necessity. This customer likes us vs Xerox service for some reason.

                          Also, I have a ProLibro account, but cannot get it to work on the pc to download the edoc.

                          This is why I asked if there is a PDF version of the manual.

                          Does that exist?

                              You can download pdf service manual for wc7835-7855 from gsn.
                              7836 is same machine.
