HP stacker C4779A service & parts manuals request

I am not familar with this unit and would like to have the service pubs
    for this unit.
The 8150 sends a sheet to the stacker, but the stacker does not feed the paper from
the printer. The input rollers do not start up. The bins go up & down and I can
see it shift after clearing the jam.
I tried using the control box but I am not sure I understand what is not happening.

    Thanks

    DR

From the Service Manual for the LJ 8150

For information on the 3,000-sheet Stapler/Stacker, see HP 3,000-
sheet Stapler/Stacker Service Manual Supplement for Paper-Handling
    Accessories (C4788-90904).

I'll see if I can dig this up.

              Jude,
Thank you very much for the offer. I made this request a week or so ago and did not
get a response. Due to customer demands I had to get this manual now. And besides
$12.77 is a very fair price.
I'm glad Paul is kinda looken out for us and he comes through in a pinch. As a tech, I know
I get busy with my own stuff and often do not have time to help as many as I would like.

Hey Jude, (just had to start that way)
Maybe you can help me fix those stackers. They have three of them and they all seem to have
              the same problem.
Paper stops at the stacker entrance. The input rollers do not come on when paper is fed.
But clear the jam and it goes through the initialization sequence all the rollers come on, the tray
goes up and down and I can see it shift for offset.
It was mentioned to use the control board on the stacker. When I do this, it does not take the paper
the first time. If I hold the input sensor flag down it gives me a red light on the stacker.
I'm guessing that means that sensor is working. Because I staged the paper early so it could see
the first sensor and give me a jam indication. Otherwise it will initalize and come up with a green
light. I hoping to find another clue in the manual.
If you have anything to add to that, please do.

              Thanks

              DR

try fuser because exit sw may be bad

do you have the configuration for the stacker set properly?

                  Jude,
This account has three of these stackers.
What I did was take the sensor from one and put it on the other and that seemed to take care of
                  the problem.
I read through the manual and checked the printer jam log and the code pointing to that sensor
came up the most and the last 7-8 times.
When I went back to take care of a second one they said the have had a couple of jams in the first
unit. But it was still running. Now we are leaning toward replacement.
But I know they will ask me to repair them before we get them replaced.
Do you know if there are any oneway gear/clutches in this unit?
I did pull the sensor out and will try to find a few locally.

                  Thanks

                  DR
