Oki ES3640 MFP

[Synaux]

The boss just got two of these ES3640s and Oki's or foreign to me. Looking for field service manual(s) before I mess something up (also any other useful documentation on these machines would be appreciated).

I actually purchased the manual you have advertised.
It is missing pages, and subequently, at vaious locations, the font has been obfusated with a white-on-white font to make it appear that these pages/sections are nonexistent.
Honestly, I must say that I quite unhappy (regardless of your post count).
There are a finite set of scenarios available for me at this point:
1) Get a proper manual from justmanuals.com
2) Get a refund from justmanuals.com
3) Find another a third party source.
4) Buy a exorbinately priced "legit" manual.
5) Be angry
6) Be happy

Nick - There is nothing wrong with the manual you downloaded, no missing pages, no obfusated pages no white on white text.

2) Get a refund from justmanuals.com

3) Find another a third party source.

Due to some foulup on your part, you paid twice, the sale came in at 4:57PM PDT, When I saw the duplicate order, I immediateley refunded the 2nd order.

I just downloaded and put together an updated version of the manual. The new file has 10 more pages and is 14mb less in size. I sent you a new link to download it via yousendit.com

If there is a next time you buy from my sites, email me directly, I am at my terminal up to 20 hours per day. I don't sleep much, you will receive a faster response.

Ok boys the manual issue resolved now my 2 cents worth on the OKI's.....Run from them, run far and fast! I work for an OKI dealer and wish we did not handle them at all.

Thank you, I didn't even notice! However, I do recall pressing the button twice out of impatience (I know better).

Be extremely carefull when dealing with OKI electronics. More carefull than usual, we've had more than 1 oki die by changing PCB's.

I don't sell many Oki manuals. I thought they were good machines. I've worked on some of their Dot Matrix printers in the past.

Nick - I'm sending you another file with more info on the 3640. You were right about that missing section, but I assure you that is the way it came from Okidata. Maybe this is the first revision of the manual. It's not like I can ask Okidata though.

That extra document is quite informative (just scrolling through it, I found the "HVPS PCB" which was making my scratch my head a days ago).
You may want to consider combining this with the manual you sell, or perhaps making a package for a few dollars more. They seem to compliment each other well.
