Does anyone know why there is a discrepancy between the service manual stating that connector J5 has 12 pins? (chapter 6 table T-6-20)
The actual board connector only has 8 contacts in it's J5 connector which connect by flat flex to the multi-sensor . This is in regard to trying to diagnose the infamous E196-404E error. The carriage pcb in question is part # QM3-0351. This beast of a plotter is driving me nuts! Does anyone think that this
thing is even worth the effort?
