Savin RW2400 Interface card

I have a customer that uses PlotBase on a Savin RW2400. His Plotbase computer was stolen and the interface card is no longer available from Savin. Does anyone have a card they would be interested in selling? The product code is 412709.

You may have more of a problem than just the IF card, as I believe the IF card and the controller are married together when you set up the system and get the license file.

Received some clarification from the Ricoh Hotline

Yeah, the IF card is married to the license file. If the IF card fails, it can be sent to Ricoh and they will program a new card to work with the existing licenses.

If the card is lost or stolen (or can't be returned for any reason) you must purchase a new card through sales channels and repurchase all the licenses. These cards are no longer available through sales, so we are trying to locate an IF card that has the needed licenses (Print, scan, PS) already. This is going to be an uphill battle

Given that you need all the options, you may be better off looking at purchasing the SD cards to do the same thing. (and MUCH more efficiently at that!)

You'd also be moving into the 21st Century by doing so.

The Plotbase solution has long outlived its usefulness in Savin / Ricoh land!
