Are you SURE the sensor is stuffed and not just dirty? Do the usual clean the sensor, F5, etc. and see how you go.

Thanks for getting back to me so quickly, I tried to do F5 but when I turn the mach on and clear the code it comes right back before I can do the F5 I've taken the sensor out and made sure the conections were tight.
do you have a part number? do you knowwhere I can get the part?

I would expect Konica-Minolta would be the only suppliers of this part. Maybe you could rat one out of a wreck?

Never ever have i had a sensor like that giving me problems on this model , i have however had this particular code because of the anti spill plate being faulty or worn .

              Part number

The begining of the number:1149 doesnt that refer back to the EP2080 or somewhere around there , YOU KNOW WHEN MINOLTA WAS STILL MINOLTA.

Sounds about right - the sensor is probably getting covered in crap...

And Minolta was still really good before the merger - Konica crap, Minolta good, (but you still have a half-decent machine). BUT they should have sacked all of the Konica engineers in Japan and destroyed every Konica box they could.

BTW, I loved the di450/550/470/552... they were great machines.
