Are you talking about the document feeder (RADF)? I found this in a bulletin from Konica, let me know if you want all of it.
Date: 07/06/04
To: All Konica Minolta Digital Copier Dealers
From: Service Support
Subject: RADF UNIT ENHANCEMENTS
DF-314: 003
PURPOSE OF CHANGE:
Changes to RADF DF-314 have been made to: (1) strengthen the hinge area of the unit, (2) provide
commonality of parts with other models, and (3) prevent skewing of original.Last edited by 10871087; 09-07-2006, 07:35 AM. -

yes they are a modification kit out for that. all it is is the hub and shaft. what happened is the old style had a smaller shaft and it wore the inside of the hub of the feed tire out causing the shaft to spin inside the hub. they have made the shaft bigger and the hub to fit the shaft. bad part is, i can't find the part number, been a while since i used one. but if i can find one i will post it.Comment

Hi T566
there is a mod that changes the pf ass'y and the gears, apparently due to dirt and paper dust getting into the shaft puts pressure on the gears. The symptoms are noise and jamming. I have that bulletin as soon as I find it i'll email over.Get your facts first, and then you can distort them as much as you please.Comment

the mod i've been told about is a change to the actual pickup and feed tyre assy, so basically you remove the old tyres and replace them with a whole new assy. does anyone know of this????Comment

This may be old news (to go with an old thread) The new style Pickup Roller Assembly for the 7020-7145 models is 40LA-4051 you will also need a 26NA40120 Lower DFPV Tire in addition.
This new unit has worked out well for us to solve many feed issues (and some not)Comment
