    Toshiba E450 Hard Drive

    I have a customer with 3 KM machines from us. They also have an E450 that we did a lot of PM work on 6 months ago and now the hard drive has died. Just makes a clicking sound and we get the failure code. Anyway since we do not have access to the firmware I was hoping someone had a parts machine laying around that I could get the HD out of so I could just plug it in and go correct? The local Toshiba Dealer wants $750 to replace the drive.

          IF you get another drive it either has to have same firmware or you need to update to a matched set of firmware.
          And Star Trek was just a tv show...yeah right!
