    Part # for Updated Toshiba 756 Drum Separation Fingers

    Does anyone have part numbers for the newer (Serial # CKGC12781 & above) Drum Separation Claws that fit the E Studio 756 series copiers?

    Subject: Countermeasure to Paper Jams Caused by Drum Separation Fingers (E010 Error)

    Overview
    The method of applying pressure of the Drum Separation Fingers has been changed to prevent paper jams (E010 errors) from occurring.

    Detail
    A: The 3 weights have been removed.
    B: The stopper has been removed.
    C: Springs have been added to the 2 Separation Fingers at the rear side. (Color: silver)
    D: A Spring has been added to the Separation Finger at the front side. (Color: black)

    To install the new springs on machines serial manufactured prior to the serial numbers listed above, use the following Installation Instructions.

    1. Remove the weights [A] and spacer [B] (if installed).

    2. Assemble as shown in the illustration below.
    (1) Insert long end of the spring [I] into hole [H]
    (2) Insert pin [E] into hole [G]
    (3) Make sure that the end of the spring is positioned as shown in [F]
