Bought this C6500 recently... was supported by KM since it was new. What kind of mfg's tech wouldn't put these jigs back? Sheesh.

Just replying I found a solution... all those jigs do is hold down that springed bar to "loosen the pressure off the fusing belt". So you could literally use a couple keys or something that fit in the slots. I found some metal angle brackets that fit perfectly in there. i never used the jigs, i would just push down and pop the bearings on.
didnt even know what those funny "L's" were screwed to the front til 5 or 6 years after i was working on them.We know a thing or two because we've seen a thing or two.
