Konica 7130 Admin Password Reset

Hi all,

I just bought a 7130 off of eBay not too long ago and it works great. However, the person told me they forgot the admin password and had no idea how to reset it. As you probably know, without it, the network functions are useless (and may explain why i got a great price on it)

To make a long story short, how to i reset the admin password?

power off the machine then hold the 25 then switch on while holding both 2 and 5 then go to password setting. then all the password changs them to 000. change the key operrator to 0000 and also the e.k.c and and weeklly timer password....

[6] Password Setting
This function sets the password to enter each mode.
In the 25 mode menu screen, select the [5. Password
setting], then the password setting menu screen will
appear.
Select the password to be adjusted/entered in this screen.

1. Key operator password set
2. E.K.C. master key code set
3. Weekly timer master key set

This function sets the password to enter the key
operator mode.

Operation procedure
Enter the 25 mode.
[25 mode menu screen]
Press the [5. Password setting] key.
[Password setting menu screen]
Press the [1. Key operator password set] key.
[Key Operator Password Setting Screen]
Enter 4-digit new password from the numeric
keys.
Press the [SET] key to set the password that has
been entered.
Press the [RETURN] key to return to the
password setting menu screen.
Note: When pressing the [RETURN] key without
pressing the [SET] key, the setting is
complete. However the new password will
not be entered and the password setting
menu screen will return.
Reference: When setting a password to “0000”,
the key operator mode can be used
without a password.
