    Tech Tip: Cleaning Covers

Try using Mr. Clean Magic Erasers to clean coveers, they work great. My wife got a free sample in the mail a few months ago and it worked great on some stuff around the house so I tried them out on a machine and I was hooked.

                    Trichlorethylene

How about Trichlorethylene, or Trichlorethane? Back in high school I worked in a sheet metal shop/paint booth, spraying it on aluminum parts to etch the surface for painting. Only 10 years later they discovered it causes cancer. Works great on fuser parts if you can ignore the nose-bleeds.
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
                    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
                    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
                    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
                    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
                    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

                        cleaning copiers

at the end of a great cleaning we use a very light coat of fuser oil (ricoh has the best)that puts a new machine shine on it. be sure to rub it into the cover pores so it's not slick as snot but works and looks great we call it copier wax!!
