    Re: Paper size/incorrect type

Is that the size you want? Is it a print job?

    8 1/2 by 13 is not a normal size

If its a print job document size causing the error recheck doc size

set the tray up as Manuel for the size you want, its in settings

If jamming is also occurring, i'd suggest looking into rebuilding the registration unit, make sure no frozen bushings and might as well do the motor.

There's no reason that you can't use Folio paper size, but you'll have to make a change in the admin mode. You have to choose between legal: 8 1/2 x 14 and folio: 8 1/2 x 13 for auto paper size detection. =^..^=

          1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
          2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
          3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
          4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.

Very good days. Thank you for your time spent helping me. Tell him to also replace
            2ND PAPER FEED SECTION
As shown in the following image.
In a solution guide it tells me that I should load the next firmware:
            Special FW: GC3-C4
Someone can give me that firmware version. Thank you in advance for your collaboration.2-4. How to select the machine motion when controller JAM occurs.pdf

I think you are jumping way ahead of yourself here...from the image you show, this is not a jam, so why start replacing feed section parts? Is this a print job and is the print job looking for 8X13 paper? Normally, when you don't have a particular size paper in any of the drawers the MFP will try to get you to load paper in the bypass tray. What size paper do you actually have in tray 2. Have you looked at the cassette itself to be sure it has not cracked in the rear causing the size guides to read incorrectly.

                  Re: Paper size/incorrect type

So ... the machine thinks that you have 8 1/2" x 13", but you have 8 1/2" x 11" (LTR-R) correct? Then the paper is feeding slowly somewhere in the vertical path, making the paper seem longer than it really is. Have you done any of the usual things?: Replace tray #3 rollers?, clean vertical path rollers?, clean and oil bushings and bearings?, replace clutches? ...

Good afternoon. The machine only has two trays. Already replace
                    1.- 1ST PAPER FEED SECTION
2.- 2 ST PAPER FEED SECTION
                    3.- CASSETTE SIZE SECTION
                    4.- PRCB PWB-Assy(PWB-MC)
The problem is not in the mechanical or configuration part. I say thank you in advance for your help

Back to the most basics then.
                      Go check your jam codes.

Suspect that you get J99-01 but there could be another code in there that could lead to the next clue.

What happens to prompt this error? Are you running something through the DF and then the error is displayed? If so it could be an issue with the DF

If I set my tray 2 up for 8 x13, remove paper from the tray, then try to make a copy with this tray designated, I get the exact same message..This isn't a jam, it's either a size detection/paper empty sensor error or operator error. There is no way for me to get my machine to display this message w/o 1st setting tray 2 to 8x13. Even a 8 x 13 document through the ADF automatically goes to 8x14. A MFP using US market just does not see 8 x13 as a availble size. I would go into Servic Mode and check 1. Marketing Area set to US, and 2, under system 1, Original Size detection, ensure you don't have legal size defined as "foolscap" which is 8x13.

Have you tried replacing the cassette just to see if the fault goes. Also the mechanism on the machine that the cassette activate when you push the cassette into position. Sometime paper get jammed behind the cassette and deforms the silver actuators.
