    BH-4000p, Lexmark clone. Error 140.10

Very remote customer called me today that his BH-4000p, (Lexmark clone) gives Error 140.10 Transport Motor. Any ideas or suggestions before I go there into the far away wilderness please?

Re: BH-4000p, Lexmark clone. Error 140.10

    140.10: Main motor failure.

I've only seen 140.80A only once on an XM1242. In that case it was solved by firmware.

The other thing I'd check is that your toner cartridge rotates properly. On HP's its fairly common to have a badly refilled toner cartridge stall the main motor. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
