I'm sure others are having issues getting toner lately, so my company has been forced to purchase non-oem toners and I have noticed a lot of machines in our network are needing sub-hoppers replaced. I'm curious if this is an issue with the 8 and 8e series from day 1 or if the compatible toners are the culprit. Any insight would be appreciated.
Is anyone else going through a lot of sub-hoppers in the 8 series?

Re: Is anyone else going through a lot of sub-hoppers in the 8 series?
We changed a few, its quite common, just today I had a c258 not adding toner to the yellow so I think it may need a sub hopper, I don't think its the toners, just the motors that fail. -

Not all aftermarket toner is created equally. What kind of toner are you using?Adversity temporarily visits a strong man but stays with the weak for a lifetime.Comment

We have been trying to get OEM when possible but we have had to supplement some of our supply with compatible carts from ACM Technologies. They're supposed to be high quality for being compatible.Comment

I don't want to be too critical of ACM but they're garbage. Stop using it.Adversity temporarily visits a strong man but stays with the weak for a lifetime.Comment

Been using Polek and Polek Minolta Toner for over a year now and have had no issues so far.
Probably won't go back to OEM since we seen no issues.Comment
