2.6.1 Life stop
(1) Use
• To select whether or not to stop a print cycle when the maintenance kit reach its service life.
NOTE
▪ The settings of software Dip switch No.227 (bit7) and switch No. 230 (bit3) have priority.
(2) Default setting
• Off
(3) Setting item
• Enable
• Off
if it has already reached life the message may not go away, this is normally set prior to install.We know a thing or two because we've seen a thing or two.

life stop is for drum and DV.
it can be overridden by those 2 dip sw.
also i wasnt aware of any konica maintenance kit for a office model. just for production machines.We know a thing or two because we've seen a thing or two.
