I have printers to be scrapped and I want to make sure they are no longer usable

No such magic switch afaik but good old working one is called... ⚒️
Us it with caution... or in your case not

snap off the power terminals and bash the socket in?
put superglue on every moving part or shaft you can see.

even better, reset them to factory default and donate them for the tax write-off.

4 / 4e series remove and destroy ssd module
8 series remove and destroy emmc module

Older - remove and dispose carefully the nvram module (lithium battery caution)

In the matter of fact, 950 have this dipsw for disposing.
Btw never tried this, i prefer old style method

the OP said printer, dont think there is a bit sw.
maybe a factory reset on its web page?
printers dont scan or copy and rarely even have storage.
honestly if i wanted to permanently disable a printer (or anything with moving parts) id simply fill it with great stuff.
