    [Error Code] BizHub PRO1100 5102

    Good Morning,
Just wondering if any have seen this error code? There is not much in the SM and hardly anything in the solutions. I go to the customer and it has this code, I clear the code and it runs, it may be a week or a day and it pops back. The SM says the the bad things may be RL1, relay board and the PCB, of course. My next is to pull it of the wall and take the back off and look at these suspects. Anything else would be helpful. Sorry the machine has a little over 3m and it does have the latest firmware for this old machine.
    Thanks

So that is line voltage control related. Is there another outlet the machine can be plugged into? Do you have a power logger to monitor the line voltage? I have had a sub power switch do some thing similar. Inspect all the relay wiring and reconnect the lot. I think the 2 relays in the back are the same. If so swap them out to check if it makes a difference.

If this machine is plugged into a power protector I would start by swapping it out. Konica had a rash of defective PP's delivered with new machines.

So I go to customer and I pull the machine away from the wall. Take cover off and I switch the two relays. Plug back in and I go to turn the machine on and it goes into the error code. Look at the ADU unit and it was loose. I slam it back in and make sure it was tight and it warmed up and was able to run prints. This machine has a tenancy to jam with a 2101 code. So I jacked up the lead edge sep to 100 and I was there for a half hour and it was running solid. Stopped by later in the day and it was still running, just two jams all day, but it was running all day. We will see what happens, operator said that it will be running all week with the jobs that they have lined up.
        Thanks

At least that eliminated the relay. Wonder if was the fuser connection that gave you the problem. Glad its running. Those J2101's can drive me mad. The tray separation rollers can bend the edge of the paper ever so slightly causing the paper to run into the separation pawls. One of many reasons for J2101. The condition of the transfer section parts is another cause. Removing the center pawl helps in some cases.
