Konica 227 rubbing noise

Hi everyone

I would like to know if any user has experienced a noise similar to this and how did you solve it

The noise seems to come from the paper exit/fuser side.

have you spun every roller or roller shaft that turns by hand and feel for excess resistance?
have you ran any load checks to isolate?
on all the white rollers that have plastic on plastic maybe a drop of fuser oil or whatever lubricant to eliminate vibrational noise?
does it only happen on duplex?

Now this is funny, i had a customer with exactly this sound calling in today.
You my friend, might have some paper dust or other type of dust in your fusing unit. Clean that unit carefully.

If this is not the case, then check the fuser cleaning roller. Replace if needed

Realy, if i would not not understand the language they are speaking i thought we had the same customer

I still have to go to the customer for a check and I do all the checks you suggest.

The problem occurs in both duplex and simplex mode.

As soon as I go to the customer I clean the fuser and check the cleaning roller.

Well my customer has had this issue resolved by me. Im still up for that beer offfer though...
