    Colorforce 8050 Fuser Web

While changing an upper fuser roller in a Colorforce 8050, I noticed that it didn't have a fuser cleaning web. Is this normal practice or was it an oversight?

    Fuser Web "mod"

Removing the web is quite a common unofficial mod so it was probably left off on purpose.

I didn't know about that. Of course that the C6500 doesn't use web, but the toner is also supposedly different. Why is the web left out, what problems does it help solve?

It causes premature wearing of the upper fuser roller..All of mine(7) run fine without the web assembly and rollers ALWAYS last life...Si
