    b420 fault c2803

    Ran new dev still getting c2803, changed hopper motors ,changed tcr sensor ,changed solenoid , interchanged dev tanks with another 420 but same code arises.Ran tcr again still getting error 4.
    Please let me have your input.

    What does the TCR level read after running the adjustment? It could be a bad connection to the printer control board, or the board itself could be bad. In rare cases, the HV unit could also be the problem.

        Make sure the drive belt in back didn't fall off. I've had this happen a few times.

          check your toner bottle rotation. check load 56-1, 56-2. check your toner gears. release the pawl manually and turn the gears . Check whether its turning freely. If no, service hopper unit. Replenish toner in. Do the TCR value should be around 54. continue with the toner density adj, laser diameter adj, ld1 offset adj and ld2 offset adj

            Hi Mascan thank you for your help .The TCR reading go s error 4 does not give any reading

                Have you put a um dent (blank area) on the mag to confirm it's actually being churned?

                Wipe a small area clear with your finger or something and run the adjustment. If the small area is still there then the dev isnt being agitated.
