I cannot remember if it is on the front side of the belt unit or the backside...don't have one in front of me.

But there should be a little plastic box with two metal tabs and the box is held in place by a single screw. Inside that box is a glass tube fuse. You can replace it with a 1/16th or 1/8th amp fuse...pico is fine.

Belt must be replaced if cleaning unit is impacted with toner or is causing wear on the surface. Surface of the belt should be shiny. If it has wear marks, dull lines, the belt is on its way to being useless.

      Reset Procedure

      C451 Reset Transfer Belt
      * it is preferable to turn the copier so as to have access from the rear right side

      1. open right side door to have access to transfer belt
      2. remove the image transfer entrance guide as per Service Manual
      3. remove the 2 screws holding the transfer belt
      4. slide the transfer belt assembly out of the machine only 8 inches approximately
      5. locate the fuse holder assembly ( as viewed from the rear of the copier ) about 5 inches from the end sticking out of the copier and remove the 1 screw and the assembly will fall in your hand. The fuse will be stuck in the Transfer Belt cavity.
      6. replace the fuse with a 250V .080 Amp glass tube fuse ( same used in all the bizhub color machines )
      7. reverse order reassemble and close the side door - the transfer belt will reset
The machine will still display "check transfer roller"
      8. go into Service Mode - Counter - Life - Transfer Roller - press C - End - Exit

Note: obviously if the belt is worn to the point where it shows lines or deletions on the copy then the belt must be replaced
