    Bizhub 1050 94-01

    Hi,
With all the problems we had with ADU duplex i now have another problem. I can run 81/2x11 and 11x17 in duplex fine. Now i got this job on 12x18 28lb color laser. I get 94-01 jam code and the paper is stopped just before the roller at ps42. I have cleaned both ps42 and ps43 and checked all backup rollers for contact. Have 5mil on machine. Think the lower rollers are shot or is it something else?? Checked the troublshooting guide and not much info there. Maybe someone has info on this jam code.

    Thanks Warren

    GOT IT FIXED

I got it fixed. There was a piece of paper in PS36. What a strange problem.

    Thanks Warren

Opened up my mouth too quick. Still got the 94-01. Have taken the ADU all apart and switched PS36 with PS43. Cleaned all rollers and sensors. We can run anything but this 12x18 28LB paper. We are doing a 12x18 4up each book will be 6x9 inches. I wanted the operator to rip it so it woud run on 6x9 inch. He said there was too much time involved to rerip the file.
Still looking for a hint to make this paper run better. The paper is 105gm 28lb. Have set for normal 92 to 135? gm. Thanks for any help.

You may have to change out the conveyance (sp?) rollers. With that many copies the diameter of the rollers may have shrunk thus causing the jams.
Color is not 4 times harder... it's 65,000 times harder. They call it "TECH MODE" for a reason. I have manual's and firmware for ya, course... you are going to have to earn it.

          94-01

          Hi RR

Ya i think it is time for new rollers. This dam book is 460 pages and need 125 books. We have about 42 done. When i check the ADU bottom plate it seems to change. I think the operator opens it with too much force bending the center down. Tonight i bent the bottom left front of the plate down and made 5 boooks without a jam. I can't seeem to find any adjustment check for that bottom plate. I also don't have access to another machine to compare. You would think they could put rubber stopper between the plates so it would close in the same position all the time. In any case going to order new rollers for the lower and reverse area..

          Thanks Warren
