Contact Crystal at Quance Technical Solution, 1-866-578-4335. They reprogram the chips for the image units. You can order chips or send old ones in for reprograming..

has anyone else had any problems with these chips from these people? i told my SM about it and he said they sent off about 15 chips to get reset at 12 dollars a piece- none of them worked. we will not do business with them again.

we are actually thinking about buying the piece of equipment to do it ourself.

Our portland oregon office bought the burner for these chips.
We send the chips there to be reprogramed and they work
great. we are getting twice the yield out of the image units.

Chip resetting

What is the best and most reliable way to reset the chips on the Konica Minolta IU & transfer unit for the C353 series, C650 series, C451, C652 series & C452. We have to replace these things so early becuase of the nice little warning function that comes up and we never get full yield. I understand from other folks that we can get two resets on the IU's and Transfer Units before copy quality degrades where we need to put in a new unit. We going throught IU and transfer units like water.
