    C450 Scanning

I have a customer with a C450 with the standard print controller the print and scan works great on his Macs. When I install a Fiery with Version 2.01 system software the print works fine but won't scan. If anyone has an answer i would appreciate it

    thanks in advanced

Was apple talk enabled on the previous fiery system, along with scan? Check to make sure DNS is set as well as workgroups.

Also, did you apply all relevant patches?

also, from a tsb on the the ic 402,

    Description
    SMB scanning compatibility with Macintosh*.
    Solution
With the upgrade to version A7 on the C450/C351, scan to SMB in environments running Samba* is now possible. This would include later LINUX* versions
and Macintosh OS X as well as any other UNIX* OS that has the Samba package loaded on it.
    Notes:
    1. Samba versions 2.0 and 3.0 are supported.
    2. SMB signatures are NOT supported.
    3. The parameters, workstation requirements, and limitations that are associated with Microsoft* Windows SMB scanning still apply.

There is more, but let me know if these are not successful.
