    Konica Bizhub C500 Writing Unit

    Hi,

    Does anyone have a new or used color writing unit for the C500 that I could buy? The cyan units polygon motor went bad so I need a motor or the whole color writing unit.

      the colour writing units are universal.

      I recommend you swap the unit with another colour to verify it is the unit and not the PRCB.

      In the meantime, you can order the print head from your nearest KM dealer, part number 65AA -651 2E WRITING UNIT/C. I do not recommend you source from anyone but KM as you likely will not get a warranty or shipping insurance if the unit is damaged.

      These devices are not serviceable. The old one is trash if it failed. They are factory tuned.

              MidWest PCB Repair has them exchange. Black is different from the colors as mentioned.
