    Bizhub 160, W7 64 drivers

Are there any drivers which could be used for the Bizhub 160 in a W7 / 64 environment?

Any workarounds if no driver available?

I do not see a windows 7 64 bit driver or the plans for one. I would try the vista universal 64 bit and add it manually.
And Star Trek was just a tv show...yeah right!

Try a generic PCL driver. HP Laserjet 4 works usually. I think you can try the HP Laserjet 4000 also in Windows 7 if the 4 isn't available.

Have you tried this as suggested months ago?

Got same problem, so far no HP or KM driver will work. Will keep digging though, if I find anything I`ll report back

How can a PCL driver work with a GDI only printer?

Found a print driver on the onyx portal (KM USA) says its for Win7 but sadly it doesnt appear to work. Never mind onwards and upwards.

Maybe you can try a Bizhub 163 !!!... or modify the drv yourself , if you know...and you have tools to edit drv.

The Bizhub 163 is a totally different machine than the Bizhub 160 series.

Why should I invest time modifying a driver for a crappy machine costing 400 USD sold by a company caring sh#t about after sales support for a cheapo customer choosing this turd of a machine.....?

OK, just mention the Bizhub 163, because it supports W7 64bit.

and with respect to modifying the drv, maybe it is a way out, I have adapted driver of different models to get some purposes, but of course within the same OS, but rather we are talking about adapt applications x86 (32bit) to 64bit you should look for there.

'll Let you know if I know something

I had this same problem a while back (Vista 64, not Win7 64). The Bizhub 181 drivers work just fine, since it's essentially the same print controller.

*Edit* Since you're in Europe, the Bizhub 163 is your equivalent of the 181.
